Techno Tanks™ Iso-Flex Tanks can be moved to any part of the world in a matter of days and are more economic to maintain in stock than Iso tanks. Iso tanks must be cleaned and moved after one use; therefore they are not always readily available.

When an Iso tank arrives at its destination, it is emptied and sent (empty) to another location because there are no return shipments. Most clients are not aware that there is a charge for returning the empty Iso tank. This problem does not exist with Techno Tanks™ Iso-Flex Tanks, as it is much easier to reuse a standard ocean container.

handling

A Techno Tanks™ Iso-Flex Tank can be loaded and unloaded from the top and the bottom. On a standard Iso-Flex Tank there is one valve on the top, one valve at the bottom and an air vent in top and center of the tank. Loading and unloading is done by connecting hoses of the loading and unloading facility to the valves of the Iso-Flex Tank. The loading or unloading is often done using a pump. Depending on the installation and regulation of certain products, it is determined how the Iso-Flex Tank should be loaded or unloaded.

When the products require a lower viscosity to be discharged, a heat pad can be used (installed beneath the Iso-Flex Tank) to inject steam or pump hot water to reduce the viscosity level of the product for a safe and efficient unloading.
